Course
A challenging, multi-terrain event of approximately 10Km through picturesque Chiltern countryside. We plan to use the same route as in the last nine years, but changes in land use, obstacles or permissions could lead to changes at short notice. Please check back for any last minute changes.

The course is not suitable for spikes. Studded or cross country shoes are recommended. Road shoes should not be used. It is currently in “good cross-country condition” but further rain is forecast in the week before the race. CAUTION! Watch out for rabbit holes and tree roots in the park.

Marshals will be on duty at road crossings and at major direction changes. The course will be marked with direction arrows and tape. Please comply with instructions given by marshals and take extra care when approaching roads.

Race number collection
If entered online (via Run Britain) or you DID NOT include an SAE with your postal entry, please collect your Race Number by 10.30am from the desk at the Race Headquarters. Please note that entries will not be taken on race day. However if you have any queries about entries (e.g. lost numbers), please visit Race HQ.

Race Headquarters is at Chesham Guide Hut, Bury Lane, Lowndes Park, Chesham HP5 1HX where you will find toilets, baggage storage, limited changing facilities but no showers. It is about 300 metres from the race start. Prizes will be presented about 12.30 pm. Please do come and support the club.

All public car Parks are close to the start (HP5 1HX). Water Meadow car park off Red Lion Street is closest to the Race HQ. Public parking in Chesham is free on Sundays, but not in supermarket car parks. A map is attached and on the club website. There is no access to or parking in Bury Lane at Race HQ.
