Hello Harriers, It’s almost time to renew your subscriptions for both Chiltern Harriers and England Athletics. With the signs of Spring appearing, we are really excited for the lighter evenings, warmer weather and another year of running ahead of us. This year we will be collecting the majority of subscriptions through England Athletics again. Look out for their email in the first couple of weeks of April. For those members without an England Athletics registration, I will email you separately with payment details. Looking forward to another great year with you all! In the meantime, please can you all:
• Complete and return your renewal information. The renewal form is on the website here (third link). DO NOT transfer any money at this time. • If EA affiliated, check your online profile and contact email is correct and sign in at the start of April and agree to the EA Codes of Conduct (essential if you want to compete). • Let me know if you are a university student or coach as different subscription rates may apply. • Let me know if you do not wish to renew your membership. Please, I don’t want to keep annoying you unnecessarily and if you have time and would like to help improve CHAC, let us know why. • If you have a standard membership with EA registration, look out for the England Athletics email in April with the subscription payment link. This will be sent to the email on your EA registration. • If you are not EA registered or have an associate/family membership, I will email you separately. • If you haven’t received anything by 18th April, or have any questions, get in touch with me at [email protected]. England Athletics operates a renewal period so your EA number will remain active until 30th June to give you time to pay your 2025/26 subscription. Do not panic if you are planning to compete soon, provided you have paid in 2024/25 and your EA number is currently active, your number will still work for entries and competitions in April, May and June even if you don’t pay on 1st April. You must however still sign in to your account and agree to the EA Codes of Conduct at the beginning of April. At the AGM it was announced that Chiltern Harriers subscriptions will remain at the same rate for another year. For a standard membership this is just £34, giving you access to twelve months of coaching, organised runs, competitions, track sessions and social events. (Family membership remains as £87 and associate £6). The England Athletics affiliation fee has however been increased to £20 for the year but still comes with its own worthwhile benefits and discounts.
