Hampden Common 9.45am Park along lane next to cricket field just South of the Hampden Arms, HP16 9RQ
There would normally be no Trailblazers in September and we would all be enjoying the Shardeloes 10k. However since this could not be planned due to Covid-19 restrictions we have the opportunity of returning to Great Hampden again for an energetic scenic run.
This venue is about twenty minutes drive from Chesham, on the top of the Chilterns in peaceful rural country with spectacular views and hills! The courses follow part of the Ridgeway, with all the runs climbing Pulpit and Whiteleaf Hills but not Coombe Hill.
These are more testing courses than recent Trailblazers and the longest one should be undertaken with some caution.
There is the option of meeting afterwards for drinks at the Hampden Arms, a small country pub, nice to sit outside in good weather.
