Health and Safety Policy
Chiltern Harriers AC are committed to encouraging its members to take part in the activities of the club, but the Health and Safety of each individual is always of paramount concern.
To support our Health and Safety Policy we are committed to the following principles:
All Club members have a duty to take reasonable care for their own Health and Safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions.
Members when joining are required to state on the application form;
Members are responsible for updating this information as appropriate.

To support our Health and Safety Policy we are committed to the following principles:
- Undertake regular, recorded risk assessments of the venues for all activities undertaken by the club.
- Create a safe environment by putting Health and Safety measures in place as identified by the assessment.
- Ensure all members are aware of, understand and follow the Club’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Report any injuries or accidents sustained during any Club activity using the Incident/accident report forms and following the said guidelines available on the Club web site.
- Provide adequate First Aid kits to all coaches, who are required to attend approved first aid courses on regular bases. The Club owns a defibrillator which is currently taken to Senior training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evening.
All Club members have a duty to take reasonable care for their own Health and Safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions.

- Any disability or additional support that may be required from the coaches – Section C
- Any medical conditions eg. diabetes, asthma, allergies etc. and to consent to such information being shared with club coaches – Section D
