Sunday 8th February - Run from Hervines Park, Amersham

The run this Sunday 8th Feb is from  the car park at Hervines Park Amersham HP6 5HU starting at 9.30am.

The circular routes take in Little Kingshill, and Holmer Green and returning via Mop End. The two plotted routes are 10.0 and 7.8 miles, details of which can be found on the web site -Training- Route maps - reference A1. There are PDF, GPX and OS maps files for paper and tech guidance.

Currently, Sunday is predicted to be dry but that will probably not apply to underfoot!

Sunday 25th January - Run from The Moor, Chesham

Sunday 25th Jan - the seniors social run is from the car park at the swimming pool at the Moor Chesham HP5 1SE.

Starting at 9.30am the routes start up Herberts Hole and take loops around Ballinger, Lee Common and Chartridge.

There are three options , 6.6, 8.0 and 10.5 miles the details of which are on the web site - training- route maps reference C5. There are PDF, GPX and OS Map files for paper and tech down loads for guidance on the day

Happy New Year Sunday runners.

The  run this Sunday 11th is from the car park at Hervines Park, Amersham HP6 5HU.

Starting at 9.30am the routes take in the old town, up to Coleshill, skirting Hogemoor Woods and back by Chalfont St Giles to the old town.

​The two plotted routes are 8.1 and 10.2 miles and related  Pdf, Gpx and Garmin files can be found on the web site -  Training / Route maps reference A9 Hodgemoor Woods.

New Year's Day Run and Walk

​New Year's Day Run and Walk from Hyde Heath Common.

Parking usually available by the school (what3words ///arrive.pint.smile).

10:30am start (allowing time for a Parkrun first!)

The maps show runs of approximately 7.7 miles and 6.7 miles, and walks of 2.7 miles and 3.2 miles.

Meet in front of 'Your Cafe in the Park' for a 10am start.

Parking is free.

No hills, but plenty of mud along canal towpaths - grippy trail shoes recommended!

Bran Tub Relay - Sunday 21st December

Bran Tub Relay
Date: Sunday 21st December
Venue: Hervines Pavillion.
Registration between 9.30 and 10 am. No late entries accepted.
All runners to bring a wrapped present (edible ones being always the most appreciated!), costing no more than £5.00.
All welcome, including parents and siblings.
Refreshments available post race

Any volunteers for marshalling gratefully accepted. We can't hold the event without sufficient marshals.

Sunday 14th December - Run from Hervines Park, Amersham

The last Hervines Park run of the year is this Sunday 14th.  As usual the run starts at 9.30am from the main car park HP6 5HU.

The two, mapped option are 8.9 and 9.8 miles but these a can be tailored to add or shorten the distances. Full details are on the web site Training - Route Maps reference A6 where there are PDF GPX and OS Maps files for paper and tech guidance.

There is no Garmin option but I believe the GPX option is a viable option. If anyone has a Garmin file for this route  could you add it to the library please ?
