Starting at 9.30am the routes head off down to the Old Town then out along the South Bucks Way towards St Giles., before looping back via Coleshill and Woodrow. Meeting at the car park at Hervines Park Amersham HP6 5HU for a 9.30 start the routes go down to the cricket ground ( the start ) at Shardeloes then out along the South Bucks Way to Little Missenden , then up to Beaumond End. The short route then takes a short cut whilst the longer route deviates off to Penn Woods before returning to the course, excluding the private section ,to the Old Town. Then its back up to Hervines. I do recommend having a map with you in your preferred format even if map reading is not your strong point. It is likely to be hot so drinks are a wise addition to your kit. Plenty of parking at the pub, leaving 10am promptly The walkers will be doing about a 5 mile route and are booked for lunch. This will be first pub run after Trevor Glover-Wright died recently, having lead this group for a very long time, with over 400 wlk/runs. He was also a very long-term member of Chiltern Harriers and a very good athlete, hurdler, when younger. Meeting at the free car park for a 9:45am start. The free car park is near the exit of the drive through the woods, just off the road from St Leonards to Aston Hill, opposite Chivery Hall Farm. Don’t use the drive: it has ANPR and barriers. The drive is mostly one-way but is two-way for a few yards at the end, allowing access to the free car park. What3Words location of the road/drive junction is ///mastering.best.trend. The finish is at the café in Wendover Woods, approximately half a mile from the free car park.
