Sunday 10th December - Run from Hervines Park, Amersham

Sunday 10th December - the run for Seniors is from the car park at Hervines Park, Amersham HP6 5HU.

Starting at 9.30am the routes lead through Hyde Heath and South Heath before returning to Amersham via Little Missenden. Full details are in the Route maps drop down on the web site reference A5. There are files showing 9.9 and 7.2 mile options in PDF, GPX and OS P Maps formats.

Doug Smith has drawn my attention to two footpath diversions on the routes.

1. Hyde Lane from the main Missenden to Chesham Road leads a footpath by Hyde Farm heading east which is closed due to an HS2 sink hole. There is a footpath from the main road which cuts the corner and avoids the closed path.
2. The routes cross the main Aylesbury road at Little Missenden and from the crossing is a path to the church which has been closed. It may have been reopened but if not go down the road a couple of hundred metres and take the lane down to the village
