Good Evening, Race Report fans. Things continue to be relatively quiet here in Race Report land, with just a smattering of parkrun results and the Fred Hughes for your delectation this week. Fortunately, those results do not disappoint. Chiltern Harriers took parkrun firsts at Church Mead - Alex Paul (19.21) and Mairead O’Rourke (23.32) - as well as at Wycombe Rye - Louise Fry (22.59) yesterday. Today, Sunday 22 January, at the Fred Hughes 10 mile in St Albans, Grant Whitaker led the Harriers home in 1.12.52, joined by Harriet Lemon (1.30.38) and Lindsay Turner (1.36.11). Well done everyone!
COMING UP LOCALLY: Last Friday of the Month 5k, South of England AAA Cross Country, Watford Half, the fifth and final Chiltern Cross Country League of the season, Watford Half, Harrow Hill 10k and the first of the Gade Valley spring marathon training runs. Check out the Club Calendar for details of these races and more. PS. for those who missed it on social last Sunday, our very own Ade McCormack did his 100th parkrun on Saturday 14 Jan, clocking 25.04 at Wendover Woods). Comments are closed.
