Before we talk about this week's parkrun results (the only results which Race Report has for you this week), can we please offer a huge congratulations to all our athletes who took part in yesterday's South of England Athletics Association cross country champs at the infamous Parliament Hill Fields. There were some brilliant results for Chiltern athletes. Look out for a full report from Steve Perkin. There were three first place finishes for Chiltern Harriers AC women yesterday, Saturday 25 January, at parkrun events. Ali Young led the ladies home at Rickmansworth (19.23); Kate Loach at Cassiobury (21.16); and Caroline Stephens did likewise in Wendover Woods (24.18). There were course PBs for Claire and Nigel Dickinson at Black Park (26.40 and 27.38, respectively), and for Trevor Brawn in Poole (25.45). Finally, Louis Peterson and Joanne Murray were rewarded with all-time PBs at Rickmansworth, with times of 17.25 and 24.31. Well done, all!
COMING UP LOCALLY: Watford Half Marathon, Mornington Chasers' Regent's Park 10k, Bramley 20/10, Hardwick X-Stream, Winslow Lions 10k and - of course - the last Chiltern League Cross Country of the season. Bring it on! Check out the Club Calendar for more. Comments are closed.
