Dennis the Menace - parkrun and Barcelona Half Marathon

Last week it was Ciara, this week it was Dennis getting in the way of racing. Alex Paul was so frustrated by it all that he headed off to Barcelona in order to get a race in (disclosure: I suspect Alex hd already booked this race before he watched the weather forecast). Alex completed the Barcelona Half Marathon today, Sunday 16 February, in a muy impresionante time of 1.23.12. ​

Yesterday, Chiltern Harriers AC had two first-placed finishers at parkrun: in Watford, Lean Ni Chiobhain came home in 20.59, whilst Louise Fry stormed home in Wycombe in 19.45. Thomas Every earn an all-time parkrun PB of 17.46 at Black Park, whilst there were 'unofficial milestones' for Miriam Kempson (parkrun number 150 - 24.31) and Paula Walker (parkrun number 350 - 44.01).
