Chiltern’s Under 15 Boys continued their great season with a win at the prestigious National Cross Country Relays Championships at Berry Hill Park, Mansfield on Saturday. Leading off on the slightly shorter first leg was Archie Pinder who ran a great leg of 6.30.7 to bring the team home in second. On leg 2 of the 2k lap, Ethan McCall ran strongly to keep the team in contention, coming home in sixth after a leg of 7.06.7. A motivated Euan Pinder took over on leg 3 and had a fantastic run to go through the field to take the win, after a leg of 6.35.8, with a five second cushion. Alex Hughes ran well on leg 1 to log 7.07.1 in an incomplete B team. Also taking part were an Under 20 trio composed of Cameron Reid, Louis Peterson and James Palmer. On a longer 3k circuit Cam came home in 39th after a leg of 9.37.2. Louis gained places with a second leg of 9.38.85. James ran 10.09.55 and the team ended up in a creditable 34th. Junior Woman Emily Alderson ran in an incomplete Loughborough Students C team, running 10.09.20. Comments are closed.
