Race Report 14 December: parkrun and Dorney Half

​Another reasonably quiet week in Race Report land, as people seemingly begin to ease their way into the festive season. In fact, there were no Harriers racing at all today, according to my psychic skills.
 
Ben Hetherington completed the Dorney Christmas Half yesterday, Saturday 14 December, in a very respectable 1.23.42. Dorney Lake was as windy as ever, if the photos on Ben’s Strava are anything to go by! Cormac Nisbet had a storming run in the 10k, to come home 1st U20 in 39.46. Amber Stubbings finished 5k in 35.22.

​In parkrun news, there were first places yesterday for Ali Young (19.57 at Rickmansworth) and Aran Davidson (17.12 in Gdansk, Poland). Joanne Murray earned herself an all-time PB of 26.11 at Rickmansworth, whilst there were course PBs there for Tim Dawson (20.43); Lean Ni Chiobhain (21.10) and Marlie Nkoane (22.10). Finally, Matt Channer celebrated his 250th milestone, also at Rickmansworth, in a time of 22.40.
