Well, what a result from the first round of the Chiltern Cross Country League! After match 1, Chiltern Harriers AC are in poll position, with some stonking individual as well as team performances. Look out for a report from Steve Perkin over the next few days. Today, however, it was a day for dark and light blue half marathons, with Harriers taking on the distance in both Oxford and Cambridge. In Oxford Jennifer Webb was rewarded with a PB, continuing an awesome road running season, with a time of 1.48.44. Charlie Wood came home in 1.22.23; Dave Howells - 1.49.54 and David Saul - 1.57.25 (having also clocked up his 200th parkrun yesterday). In Cambridge Ed Wright was also in PB form, completing the event in 1.33.31, whilst Matt Lawrence finished in 1.42.56. Well done!
