Good Evening, Race Report fans. I hope you have had a lovely weekend. An early shout-out to all those who were participating at the Windsor, Slough, Eton and Hounslow Open Meeting today. Great runs all-round, and loads of PBs. Look out for a Report from Steve Perkin over the next few days. Harking back to last week, Andy Wiseall braved the EnduranceLife Coastal Trail Series Sussex ultra on 7 May. Having been unable to compete a few weeks earlier, Andy was not to be deterred and completed the challenging 33-ish mile course un-aided, in a great time of 6 hours 16 mins. At the Hatfield 5 Mile in Bovingdon on Sunday 9 May, there were great runs by: Adam Shute (29.34); Trevor Brawn (44.12) and Ruth Holroyd (46.25).
Yesterday, 15 May, a man Down Under (aka Jase Trimmer) had an awesome run at the Ultratrail Australia 100. Jase clocked a new PB on the 100k route in New South Wales’ Blue Mountains - a time of 13.10.50 and 9th in age category. Finally, James Repper joined others to help inform when and how mass participation evens can safely resume in the Reunion 5k at Kempton Park. Organised by London Marathon Events, the race was part of the government’s Events Research Programme (ERP). Other events taking part include the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium and the World Snooker Championships at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. Official results not yet available, but James clocked a speedy Strava time of 17.01. Well done, all! Comments are closed.
