Good Evening, Race Report fans! It’s been a quieter week from a racing perspective, but the quality remains steadfast as ever. In parkrun news, it was a good day for the Quantrills yesterday - Saturday 21 October - with Sarah completing her 100th ever parkrun at Black Park in a time of 21.38, and Charlie coming away with a course PB of 18.33. Meanwhile there were all-time PBs for: William Shield (17.33 at Southampton); Charlie de Sousa (20.05 at Ricky) and Jamie Reeve (24.07 at Wycombe Rye). Finally, Ella Peters earned herself a course PB of 23.57 in Exeter.
In a somewhat different kind of event Ben Hannen finished 6th on the red course of the Thames Valley Orienteering Club (TVOC) Hodgemoor Saturday Series in a total time of 1.42.17. Over in sunny Spain Jo Culver took part in the Valencia Half Marathon, finishing in 1.57.18, and earning herself a goody bag of broccoli for her efforts! Finally, Race Report is delighted to share some news with you. We are pleased to announce that Tom and Pip Powell have welcomed baby Erin to the world, with all the family doing well. Congratulations! We can’t wait to give Erin her first CHAC vest. … aaannnddd… entries to the Pednor 10 are OPEN.
