Well, the wintery weather is here Race Report fans, and here in Race Report HQ (the Royal) we are enjoying a ginger wine, classic Pink Floyd and a warm blanket. I hope you are similarly ensconced. It’s a relatively quiet week for racing. We’ll kick things off with yesterday’s parkrun. There were first-placed finishes for Rich Moss and Sue Elliott at South Oxhey (20.48 and 22.51, respectively), with Sylvia Moss also picking up second female at the same event. Emily Hollis came away victorious at Wendover Woods (22.23), whilst there was a course PB at Wendover for Glen Martin (23.32) and Lindsay Turney was also rewarded with a course PB at Rickmansworth (25.04). Slightly further afield on Saturday 27 November, Léan Ní Chiobháin was once again in action in the Irish Mountains, taking on an event in the Kilmac Running Festival. 2 hours 42 (and seven seconds) later, according to Strava, she had covered 16.35 miles and more than 3,500 ft of climb. Phew! In what sounds like somewhat warmer climes Tim Dawson clocked a 52.37 and another event in support of ‘Liberty’s Legacy in the Benidorm 10k. Well done, all! COMING UP LOCALLY: the Chiltern Cross Country League, Mornington Chasers’ Regents Park 10k and the Perivale 5. Check out the Club Calendar for more. Comments are closed.
