As January draws to a close and bank accounts breathe a sigh of relief, I’m pleased to bring you this evening’s Race Report. Once again, it is a relatively quiet one, but ends with EXCITING NEWS. ![]() In parkrun news, there were first placed finishes for Mairead O’Rourke (24.06 at Church Mead), Becs Nkoane (18.26 at Northala Fields - also an all-time PB) and Thomas Emery (16.41 at Black Park). Meanwhile Charlie Quantrill equalled his all-time PB at Black Park (19.10) and Ade McCormack earned a course record for Enniskillen (22.21). Moving on to today, Sunday 29 January, a huge congratulations is due to Jo Culver, who was first in her age category at the Bushy New Year 10k in a time of 52.20. THE EXCITING NEWS is that you need to Hold the Date for the evening of Saturday 11 February, and the return of the post cross-country social!
