Good Evening Race Report fans! I hope you are keeping warm on this chilly December evening. Whilst I don’t have lots and lots of results for you this evening, I do have a fair few photos which I hope you will enjoy looking at. In parkrun news, we had no less than three first-placed finishes at events yesterday – Saturday 30 November. Mike ‘Tiny’ Turney and Louise Fry were King and Queen of Wycombe Rye (18.43 and 20.25, respectively), whilst Alicia Bushell was victorious at Black Park (20.14). There were course PBs for Caroline Stephens (24.01 at Wendover Woods) and Ian Chapman (25.29 at Warwick Racecourse). Finally, at Rickmansworth Annelize Colquhoun made her parkrun debut (26.42), and Neil Bates completed his 100th parkrun (20.38). On Friday 29 November, Sylvia Moss took on Serpentine AC’s Last Friday of the Month 5k, clocking 22.40. Today, Sunday 1 December, Andy Wiseall and Ian Lawson both completed the Bedford Harriers Half Marathon in times of 1.24.14 and 1.34.21. Well done to both of you for great runs! COMING UP LOCALLY: 3rd Chiltern League Cross Country Match, Pednor 10. Check out the Club Calendar for more.
