Well, a quiet week from a Race Report perspective, but an absolutely RAUCOUS week from a Chiltern League perspective! Well done to all those who took part in Match 2 yesterday at Teardrop Lakes, Milton Keynes. You are all superstars. Keep watching for Steve Perkin’s report… In parkrun news, there were course PBs yesterday, Saturday 13 November, for Jay Grigson (25.51 at Macclesfield) and Ian Lawson (22.27 at Shongweni, South Africa). Meanwhile at Cassiobury Park, Kate Loach was first lady home in 22.06 and Javid Khan was rewarded with an all-time PB of 19.20.
And what about that Matt Robins?! Because one marathon in a week is just not enough, on Thursday 11 November he ticked off marathon number 98 alongside fellow Chiltern-marathon-Matt, Matt Channer, in a strava time of 4.12.24 at the Saturn Running Remembrance Day Marathon…. and then number 99 today - Phoenix Running’s Remembrance Day Marathon - in a time of 4.28.25. All being well, Matt Robins will join the elite 100 marathon Club on 1 December 2021. Go Matt, go! COMING UP: Chiltern League Match 3 - 4 December at Stopsley Park, Luton. Comments are closed.
