Race Report: parkrun, Hillingdon 20 and the Wilmslow Half Marathon

Good Evening Race Report fans, and welcome to British Summer Time. Even though it seems the rain clouds didn’t get the memo, I certainly hope you are enjoying this lighter evening.

It’s a relatively quiet report this evening, and we’ll start with parkrun and with Lucy Wilkinson running away with the win at Rickmansworth yesterday, 25 March, in a blistering time of 18.47.

At the Hillingdon 20 today, there were victories both for Mike ‘Tiny’ Turney, who was first in his (new) age category in a time of 2.25.18 and for Rik Edwards who was Hertfordshire age category Champion in 2.59.08. Not to be outdone, Chiltern’s Ali Young came home in 2.30.42. Great results on a lapped course on a tough day for running. Meanwhile, Kingsley Nanton was in action in the Wilmslow Running Festival Half Marathon, clocking a time of 1.34.42.
