Good Evening Race report fans. This is a Race Report that features no races…. but some excellent running nonetheless. I help that like me you managed to enjoy some of the fine winter weather this weekend. The first run, not a race, is parkrun, of course. And though its not a race, we’re still going to celebrate the fact that Sylvia Moss was first lady at Gadebridge yesterday, Saturday 27 January, in a time of 24.07. Meanwhile, there were course PBs for Ian Lawson (20.59 at the University of Northampton) and Neil Turner (18.43 at Rickmansworth). Today Mark Fry joined City of Salisbury Athletics & Running Club for the 35th edition of the Stonehenge Stomp: a walking event which also welcomes runners! Participants complete 10, 20, 30 or 40 kms of fully marked trails with views of Stonehenge on all routes. Mark completed the 20km option, earning himself a snazzy badge for his efforts. SOME ADMIN: you can do me a favour. Next weekend the current Chiltern Harriers Facebook Group will be closed. To do this, Admins will need to individually delete all current members of the Group. You can therefore make the process somewhat less painful by leaving the group voluntarily before that point. You will still be able to follow the Club on Facebook, via our public-facing pace www.facebook.com/ChilternHarriersAC. For internal Club news and chat, make sure you’re part of our WhatsApp Community (for ages 16 and above). Email [email protected] or [email protected] if you need to be resent the joining link. COMING UP LOCALLY: BUCS Cross Country Champs, SEAA Senior / U20 Indoor Tarck & Field Champs, British Masters 10k Road Racing Champs, Mornington Chasers Regents Park 10k, Watford Half Marathon, the Buckinghamshire Schools Cross Country, the final Chiltern League match of the season, the Bramley 10/20 and the Harrow Hill 10k. Check out more on these events and others on the Club Calendar. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST: A new discount has been added for Club members, from Nick Cowan Osteopath. Check it out, plus existing offers for Club members here. Comments are closed.
