Southern Athletics League - Match 1 at Eton

21/5/2024

The Wycombe and Chiltern composite team got off to a flying start at the first Southern Athletics League match at Eton on Saturday. The rebranded team (formerly ‘South Bucks’) were taking part in their first match in Division 1 after promotion last year. The four matches work on a round robin basis and this match featured Harrow, Windsor, Thames Valley, Bracknell and Medway & Maidstone.
In a very high quality fixture, the team finished an excellent fourth from the six teams involved. Most competition slots were filled and there was a great level of commitment on show and some great performances.
