Trevor Glover-Wright

Trevor who was one of the early members after the Club was formed in 1978 has sadly passed away at the age of 91. He was a 'Life Member' of Chiltern Harriers. For many years he was an enthusiastic and talented athlete often seen vaulting styles and obstacles.

When he started to slow down he organised 'Pub Runs' from 1990 on the first Sunday of the month and he must have visited most of the 'watering holes' in The Chilterns. Unbelievably the group known as 'Trevor's Trekkers' have held over 450 such 'Pub Runs' involving a 5 mile walk and for our runners a run of 8-10 miles.

We will miss him terribly!
