Love - and rain - is definitely in the air this Sunday evening, Race Report fans. And just to set the tone Your Humble Race Reporter is indulging herself in some of the best 1980s British synth (‘The Human League’ and ‘Tears for Fears’)… surely the best way to spend a Sunday evening?! And before you ‘lose that loving feeling’ we’ll celebrate Kingsley Nanton’s 44.12 at today’s Love Welwyn Garden City 10k; and a 44.03 for Grant Whitaker at the RunThrough Victoria Park 10k. At parkrun events yesterday there were 1st placed finishes for Jessie Keighley at Black Park (20.41 - a course PB); Richard Moss at South Oxhey (20.13 - a course PB); and Sue Elliott also at South Oxhey (22.41). Sylvia Moss completed the sweep for Harriers at South Oxhey, coming home 2nd woman and in a course PB time of 23.05. Finally, at Rickmansworth Neil Walker and Cath Holloway were both rewarded with overall PBs of 19.20 and 22.32, respectively. Race Report will be taking a few weeks off (duty calls), returning to your devices on 6 March. If you have any results from 19 - 20 February or 26 - 27 February that you would like to see reported, please send them to me and I will pick them up on 6 March (Ellie Bates).
