Well, it’s been a weekend for 5k successes. ![]() The action kicked off under the lights in Battersea on Friday evening, 17 February, at one of the Podium Meets. Running in separate races, there was a rash of absolutely blistering results for Harriers men: Richard Slade clocked 14.39, George Brown - 14.41, Will Perkin - 14.50 and David Clark - 15.11. We’ll start the parkrun news with the first placed finishes: Maddie Hughes was victorious at Rickmansworth (18.13), as were Alex Paul and Abi Askey at Church Mead (19.59 and 25.22, respectively). Victoria Lucas, Tim Dawson and Richard Moss earned themselves course PBs, at Wycombe Rye (25.11), Rickmansworth (20.32) and Upton Court (19.30), respectively. Meanwhile, there was a veritable avalanche of all-time PBs at Rickmansworth: Alex Hughes (15.56), Leon Doran (16.13), Archie Pinder (16.25), Aidan Suleyman (17.58), Ellie Shield (19.33), Jacob McCall (20.29), Tom Robinson (20.40), Isaac McCall (20.51) and Rebecca Lawson (21.20).
