Well, Happy Shardeloes Day everyone… and it’s been a really busy weekend!
First of all, congratulations to all those who took part in the Southern Road Relays in Aldershot yesterday. No doubt a report will follow this one. Well, Happy Heritage Day from Amersham. And our Harriers have been making some history of their own with their running.
Well, I hope not too many of you are reading this from far-flung places, having been unable to get home due to the issues with air traffic control. And that you have had the opportunity to enjoy the lovely weather which we have seen today (albeit it was a bit too hot for running!)
Good Evening, Race Report fans.
It’s a relatively quiet mid-August report for you this time. But that is made up for by the sheer enormity and awesome-ness of our friend Ash Holmes’ achievement in the legendary Squamish 50 mile in Vancouver, Canada. Ash clocked a total (strava) time of 11.24.09 for some 10,000ft of climb in an absolutely beautiful part of the world yesterday. Well done, Ash! Good Evening, Race Report fans. If you’re observant, you’ll have spotted that you’ve already heard from me this evening… and, if you’re going to be observant, then I suggest you check your email ;-)
Good evening, Race Report Fans. Thank goodness it stopped raining. I’ve put a halt on the ark that I’d ordered and the cat has ventured back out into the world.
Good Evening, Race Report fans. I hope you have managed to dodge the rain clouds this weekend.
School may be out for Summer, but Race Report is still here. (How is that fair, I hear you ask?!) Things are looking commensurately quieter in terms of racing. As in previous years, Race Report would love to receive your parkrun postcards. If you do a parkrun on holiday, please send a picture to ellie.bates@chilternharriers.com and I’ll include in the week’s report.
Good Evening, Race report fans. I hope you have had a lovely weekend and didn’t feel too bereft with the lack of Race Report last weekend.
Good Evening, Race Report fans. We’ll kick things off with some snippets from last weekend when Your Humble Reporter went AWOL.
